Singing and Bubbling Whales 2

I wanted to draw some beutiful mermaids but after several tries decided that the mermaids looked rather like whales... So now you're seeing a picture of a whales gathering at neptunes palace to sing together and a hungry shark seems interested in that spectacle too >

Technique = Encaustic, hot molten wax spred onto a special coated paper card using a small light iron.

Used corel photopaint to enhance colors a bit after scanning and getting the eyes to look better.
