I love everything connected either to fantasy or SciFi therefore it's only natural that I'd draw some planets & comets and since I also love cute critters I decided to a a sweet birdy. But the poor thing will probably not see the morrow once the impact has taken place.

This is a combination of different mostly traditional techniques. The BG (Castle, River, Mountains + Planets) I've drawn by spreading hot liquid wax onto a special coated black postcard.

Then I've taken liquid white color (zu deutsch flüssig TIP-EX) and by using my fingers as well as a brush added the birdy und the comets)
To color them I then took red + black edding markers as well as neon orange markers .


After scanning I created the reflections in the water with corel photopaint and I rendered the comets + birdy a bit with that program toonplus enhanced colors and constrast.

The star-swirl in the upper right corner I made accidently by trying to remove a smude and rubbing the card with the tip of my finger in tiny circles too hard.
